- In the Tool Property palette for the Control point sub tool, the Process setting now appears as radio buttons instead of a drop-down menu.
- When using Add control point mode of the Control point sub tool and clicking to add a control point, the control point will be created on the existing line rather than the position clicked.
- When using Switch corners mode of the Control point sub tool to click an anchor point on a cubic Bezier curve, the anchor point and the shape of the line will both adjust accordingly.
- When using Switch corners mode of the Control point sub tool and dragging anchor points or direction points on a cubic Bezier curve, you can change the curve shape.
- When using Add control point mode of the Control point sub tool and dragging on a cubic Bezier curve, you can move the added direction point.

- We have added a border to the cross symbol that appears when selecting a gradient layer with the Object sub tool.
- We have changed the color and shape of control points that appear when clicking a line on a vector layer with the Object or Control point sub tools.
- When editing a cubic Bezier curve with the Object sub tool, you can hold Shift while dragging a direction point to drag it in 45-degree intervals around the anchor point.

*1 About technology preview functions
Technology preview functions are released for users to test out before the official release. They may change when they are officially released.
*2 Regarding the end of providing export functions for Kindle publishing on macOS:
From Ver. 1.9.1, the Kindle Publishing format .mobi will be unavailable on Clip Studio Paint on macOS. In macOS 10.15, planned to be released in fall 2019, 32-bit applications will no longer be supported. Clip Studio Paint uses the application KindleGen provided by Amazon Services International, Inc. to export e-book data (.mobi) for Kindle publishing. KindleGen is a 32-bit application, and according to Amazon Services International, Inc., there are no plans for a 64-bit application. Regrettably, this means we will no longer be able to offer this function on macOS. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and we appreciate your understanding.
If you are using macOS, please use the File menu > Export multiple pages > Export EPUB data from now on. We have added a new option to export for the Kindle format. Files will now be exported in EPUB format, which is optimized for the Kindle format. You will be able to access your past Kindle format files in Clip Studio.
