Other Improvements & Changes

We have also made some other improvements, specification changes, and bug fixes based on feedback from Clip Studio Paint users.

  • Added Handle size setting to Preferences > Tool category. This setting adjusts the size of handles and control points shown when selecting a line or ruler on a vector layer and when drawing with Figure tools such as the Continuous curve sub tool.

  • In Preferences > Tool category, the setting Auto-scroll at edge of canvas while dragging has been changed to Auto-scroll at edge of canvas. For auto-scroll operations, you can choose from None, Drag, or Drag with mouse. On the iPad and iPhone versions, Drag with mouse is not available.

You can drag to adjust the shape of the following section, not the current section. Also, you can switch between sharp corners or smooth curves at anchor points by pressing or releasing the Alt key while dragging.
  • When drawing a line with tools such as the Continuous curve sub tool, you can create corners by clicking the next point, or smooth curves by click-dragging.
  • (iPad/iPhone) In the font list shown in the Tool Property palette, the option Find not in this list has been changed to Add fonts from device. The location of the button has also changed. The function is the same.
  • When using Switch corners in the Tool property palette of the Control point sub tool to click an anchor point on a cubic Bezier curve, the anchor point and the shape of the line will both adjust accordingly. (PRO/EX)
