Temporary change in payment method for monthly/annual plans (Updated 5/31)

We have now completed the migration of our payment system to improve security for monthly/annual plan sign-ups through our website (ec.clip-studio.com). We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We have also resumed sign-ups for the special rate plan for owners of perpetual one-time purchase licenses, which had been temporarily suspended. To sign-up, tap "Get the special rate.”
We will continue to create services that better serve all users.

If your credit card payment does not work or you would like to use a different payment method, you can sign up from your smartphone or tablet through an app store (App Store and Google Play Store) and use that license on Windows and macOS. For details on how to sign up, see here .

We have temporarily changed the payment system for monthly/annual plans in response to the use of fraudulent payments. We sincerely apologize for any disruption while we seek to resolve the issue.

(Updated May 30, 2023)1. Credit card payments can now be made on our website (ec.clip-studio.com) as in the past for new monthly plans.

1. Normally you can sign up for a new plan from our site (ec.clip-studio.com) and pay with a credit card. However, for now, even Windows/macOS users must sign up from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Even if you sign up for a Clip Studio Paint monthly plan from your smartphone or tablet, you can easily switch to your Windows/macOS device using the same Clip Studio account.

2. There is no change to payment methods for the Update Pass, Discounted version upgrade, or discounted upgrade on the site (ec.clip-studio.com).

(Updated May 30, 2023)3. We have resumed sign-ups for the special rate plan (two devices or more) for owners of perpetual one-time purchase licenses. You can sign up with a credit card payment.

3. Due to this measure, for the time being, the dual-device special rate plan for perpetual license owners will not be available. For now, please take advantage of the Update Pass, Discounted version upgrade, or the Single-device monthly usage plan.

(Updated April 25, 2023)4. We ask that you register your credit card again if you are paying for a plan through our site (ec.clip-studio.com).

This is due to a payment system migration that affects the following users:

・Anyone who has a payment date after March 28 2023 18:48 (UTC) with a credit card registered on our site (ec.clip-studio.com).

We apologize for the inconvenience and would like to offer 3,000 Clippy as a thank-you gift for re-registering your card.

We have sent out an email to users who will need to register their card, so please check the details in that email.

5. These measures will not affect your plan if you are already signed up for a monthly/annual plan through an app store.

These measures will continue for the time being until the issue is resolved. If any other services are affected by these measures, we will announce them separately.
